The collection covers a very diverse geographical area and is somewhat loosely focused on the 1940s and 50s, but in numerous cases it includes stamps from much earlier or later period as well. However the period of WWII and the decade following the end the conflict is covered in greatest detail be it European countries, former British or French colonial subjects, or Latin American states.
